Meet The Owner

Mia's lifelong passion for dogs has always been evident, with a bright smile illuminating her face whenever she encounters them. She is Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. Her journey into pet ownership blossomed when she brought two dogs into her own home, at 8 weeks old. Those two are her heart and soul whose names are Roxy and Cash. She discovered the profound joy and unconditional love they offered and knew dogs were inseparable. While serving in the United States Air Force, Mia combined her passion for dogs with her duties by offering boarding and walking services on Rover part-time, blending her passion with her responsibilities.

After 21 years of dedicated service, she retired in 2022 and turned her passion into a full-time dog care business, creating her LLC Xclusive Pawz; realizing that this was her dream to be surrounded by lovable dogs daily. In her free time, you can find Mia in the ocean doing activities such as freediving, snorkeling, surfing, or simply soaking up the sun. She also loves trying new foods and indulging in all aspects of self-care, making the most of her well-deserved retirement. All this while embracing the love of all the four-legged friends who she encounters.
